Via the left-of-center but information-jammed Swing State Project, I see that the Democratic campaign committees have a cumulative cash on hand of more than $41 million, while their GOP counterparts have a bit more than $24 million.
However, the Democratic committees’ combined debt is more than $6.8 million, while the combined debt of the RNC, NRSC, and NRCC is . . . $0.
Then again, if Democrats don’t worry about the national debt, I’m not sure why we should expect them to worry about their national party committee debt.
