McCain Goes to Colombia, FARC Panics

John McCain goes to the southern hemisphere South America, and FARC releases their hostages. While the timing is coincidental, I suppose there’s always the possibility that they were responding to the threat of being grabbed by their lapels by the Republican candidate.

I’m sure it’s a strange coincidence that one of the American hostages is named “Casus Belli.”
(That’s a joke.)
UPDATE: Early reports indicate a well-executed rescue operation on the part of the Colombians. But I’m sure the knowledge that McCain was in the neighborhood and available for backup was detrimental to FARC morale.
