A Most Implausible Claim About the Obamacare Enrollees

Seriously?

Gene Sperling, director of the National Economic Council, claimed the administration itself doesn’t have a clear view of how many have enrolled.

“We’re going to release those numbers monthly like we do with other medical data,” Sperling said at Monday morning’s POLITICO Playbook Breakfast. “The truth is we don’t have that information now.”

We are supposed to believe that the federal government contracts to build a web site, whose entire purpose is to sign people up for insurance plans, and the site cannot count how many people have enrolled in the insurance plans?

Or that it can somehow count them, but only at the end of the month?

Why is she smiling? Is she being paid by the hour to repair healthcare.gov?
