The New Jersey Absentee-Ballot Effort Begins

One of my New Jersey readers who has low expectations of the Republican National Committee writes in:

For the first time in a very very long time, I received some mail from the RNC that was not asking me for money to spend on candidates elsewhere (or on a Presidential candidate that had little to no chance of winning New Jersey), but was actually meant to help the NJ GOP’s candidate for governor:  An application to vote by mail (f/k/a an absentee ballot application).  The mailer came from the RNC and included 2 applications.  I was amazed to see that the national Republicans were paying enough attention to New Jersey’s race to actually spend a little money on it.
