ST. PAUL, Minn. — Welcome to the oddest convention I’ve ever covered. There’s nothing on tap for tonight, and everything beyond today is up in the air. There’s probably a speech by Palin Wednesday and McCain Thursday, and yet no one is certain of whether it is live or by remote. Events may or may not be going forward, or suddenly turned into hurricane relief events.
All of a sudden, the GOP is the party of change.
