It was inevitable, I suppose. Democrat Scott Murphy’s campaign has sent out a mailer charging that his rival, Republican Jim Tedisco, would “work for” Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and George W. Bush.
I suppose that Limbaugh and Palin are standard-issue bogeymen for a Democratic mailing list. But the Bush line is really inane. Bush has left office, and is out of government, presumably for the rest of his life. Tedisco has not yet served in federal office yet. How the would-be congressman can “work for” Bush is a detail that the Murphy campaign would rather not bother thinking about.
