The numbers in New York’s 20th congressional district continue to slide in the wrong direction for Republican Jim Tedisco, at least according to Siena. (HT: David Weigel.)
Siena finds Democrat Scott Murphy ahead by four . . . but strangely, 45 percent of voters think Tedisco will win, only 35 percent think Murphy will win. Couple that with the perception that Tedisco is running a more negative campaign, I wonder if the thinking of most respondents is, “I’m immune to negative campaigning, but I don’t think my neighbors are.”
