Obama Aides Certainly Aren’t Hinting at New Arguments, Are They?

Looking at how the audience for Obama’s prime time appearances have steadily shrunk over the past year, I think it’s possible we see a smaller audience than July’s press conference, which dealt almost entirely with his health care proposal.

If Obama wanted to build the audience for tonight, he would probably leak that Americans would hear something new from him. But unless the White House is holding some secret bombshell, it sounds like we’re going to hear a lot of familiar arguments and rhetoric.

Keep in mind that it has been an entire 49 days since the last time President Obama addressed the nation in prime time to talk about his health care plan.
