Obama’s Position on Fundamental Change Changes Fundamentally

Obama’s position on fundamental change has . . . well, fundamentally changed.

Right before Election Day 2008:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

But the way [Ryan’s] plan achieves those goals would lead to a fundamentally different America than the one we’ve known certainly in my lifetime.  In fact, I think it would be fundamentally different than what we’ve known throughout our history.

Follow the logic: In October 2008, America needed to change itself, fundamentally. Now, the Ryan plan is dangerous, because it would fundamentally change the way America has been since its founding.
