Only 36 Percent of Democrats Call Afghanistan ‘A War Worth Fighting’

While Obama is getting overall high marks for how he’s handling Afghanistan, he leads a fundamentally dovish party whose members are not that interested in fighting the war on terror. Only 36 percent of Democrats characterize Afghanistan as “a war worth fighting” in the most recent ABCNews poll. That’s not that much higher than the number of Democrats who think Iraq is worth fighting, 21 percent.
