Our Tolerant Society Finally Found an Intolerable Form of Love

A quick thought, from where I’m sitting in the BBC Newsroom: Oxford professor and atheist writer Richard Dawkins just declared that it’s “immoral” to NOT abort a child with Down Syndrome.

Hey, remember when love was love, and anyone who disapproved of love between two human beings was hateful, intolerant, and the living embodiment of all that is wrong with the world?

Dawkins finally found a love he can’t abide: the love parents have for a child with Down Syndrome.
