I actually think that in the grand scheme of the Virginia gubernatorial race, the misbehavior of a Deeds staffer — misdeeds? — is a pretty small story. But if we’re going to make a big hoopla out of Bob McDonnell’s thesis, how big a stink should be made about a Creigh Deeds staffer calling up the Bob McDonnell campaign, claim to be a reporter, and asking for his schedule?
Caller ID is a bummer, man. I don’t know if it’s a firing offense, but I’m not sure that handing it internally, as the Deeds campaign claims they’re doing, is appropriate, either.
