A Quote To File Away: Obama’s “Consistent Efforts to Disenfranchise Voters”

Hillary Clinton campaign communications director Howard Wolfson, asked about states that his candidate could carry that Obama could not: “The Obama campaign will have a very hard time competing in Florida and Michigan given their consistent efforts to disenfranchise voters in those states.”

He also mentions West Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada, and the reporter had mentioned Arkansas in the question.
Phil Singer, the deputy communications director, notes the poll out of Massachusetts (SurveyUSA) that had McCain and Obama tied in that previously deep blue state.
If I were on the McCain camp, I would be running audio of that quote — “The Obama campaign will have a very hard time competing in Florida and Michigan given their consistent efforts to disenfranchise voters in those states” over and over again in those two states.
