Three years ago, I welcomed the New Year in Dublin, Ireland. It turns out U2 was right; all is quiet on New Year’s Day, mostly because everyone is still sleeping off what happened the previous night.
Tonight, at midnight, as the lyrics say, a world in white gets underway, and we will begin again. 2010 isn’t likely to be quiet, but I hope we all enjoy the ride.
