Michael Bennet, U.S. senator, runs an ad denouncing Washington.
Michael Bennet, U.S. senator who voted for the stimulus and the health-care bill, runs an ad denouncing Washington as a place where “they spend money they don’t have.”
He also declares that in Washington County, Colorado, “people are looking for someone to stand up for them.” I presume they’re looking because they’ve concluded the senator they already have is incapable of doing that.
What’s the strategy here, close your eyes and pretend you’re not a sitting U.S. senator?
