The good news for the GOP is that this House race in Washington is still competitive; the bad news is that their man now trails.
In an election for US House of Representatives in Washington’s 2nd Congressional District today, 09/29/10, Democratic incumbent Rick Larsen is narrowly atop his Republican challenger, Snohomish County Council member John Koster, according to this latest exclusive KING-TV poll conducted by SurveyUSA.
4 weeks ago, Koster had a slight advantage. Today, the teeter-totter tips and Larsen has a slight advantage, 50% to 47%. There is movement to the Democrat among both men and women and all voters age 35+, but in particular:
* Among voters age 35 to 49, a 12-point Republican advantage has been eliminated.
* Among voters age 65+, a 2-point Democrat advantage is now a 12-point Democrat advantage.
