Texas Democrats Aim to Avoid Embarrassment in Tuesday Senate Runoff

This coming Tuesday, Democrats in Texas will head to the polls for a runoff election to pick their Senate nominee. One of the two finalists for the Democrats is David Alameel, a dentist and immigrant from Lebanon. Texas Democrats are warning that a Rogers victory would be a major embarrassment.

The winner takes on GOP incumbent senator John Cornyn, a heavy favorite.
