They Can’t Call Mississippi For Obama… Yet (UPDATE: At 8:30, They Can.)

No leaked exit poll data from my usual sources; the Mississippi primary ain’t exactly a Super Tuesday.

I’m mildly intrigued that the networks aren’t calling Mississippi immediately for Obama; it may be that it’s a bit closer than the 20 point margin than the polls indicated. Having said that, Obama’s delegate lead is almost certainly going to increase from one to a handful of delegates.
UPDATE: At 8:30 p.m. eastern, CNN can indeed call the state for Obama. Yawn.
ANOTHER UPDATE: I am told, and see in the CNN exit polls, that Barack Obama carried 24 percent of the white vote. On the one hand, it’s Mississippi. On the other hand, this is a Democratic primary.
