They Say It’s a Humid State, But That Seems Like a Cold Shoulder To Me

Boy, when Bill McCollum, the Republican attorney general of Florida who hopes to be that state’s next governor, is asked to assess the performance of current governor Charlie Crist, you can just feel the love: “I’m not going to comment on Governor Crist and his performance in office… I’m looking at being the next governor of Florida and I’m more than happy to talk about where I think the state should be going.”

The AP felt the need to ask McCollum about Crist when they noticed his “to-do list if elected governor that looks a lot like the one Gov. Charlie Crist had in 2006:”

UPDATE: Marc Ambinder tweets, “Out soon: another FL poll that will show Rubio within single digits of Crist….” That’s not that surprising; a Daily Kos/Research 2000 poll in November had it at 10 percentage points…
