A Huckabee fan notes, with some pretty obvious justification, that the populism he articulated in the primary looks pretty mild, now that the Republican nominee has just called for the Secretary of the Treasury to buy mortgages that people can’t pay and renegotiate them to rates that the homeowners can pay.
