Earlier this year, I went through the list of GOP House challengers and found the Underfunded 20. Now that it’s autumn, some are in better shape, some still remain close but need additional support, and several others are in the position of needing reinforcements of cash and volunteers in the final weeks. Consider them the ones who need help.
When people are talking seriously about a 50- or 60-seat pickup, there are more than 20, obviously. But this list includes the names that came up most often, almost all of whom haven’t seen some clearly reassuring poll number quite yet.
