Which Candidate Does Virginia Rain Help?

Polls are open in Virginia. The polling place in my neighborhood of Yuppie Acres, Alexandria, had no line outside as it did for both last year’s presidential primary and the November election. Dawn brought thunderstorms, and miserable drizzle continues. More thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. The number of absentee ballots requested this year is less than in 2005 and 2006 (when there was a somewhat competitive and interesting Democratic senatorial primary), so it’s possible that turnout will be really, really, really low.
