Which Poll Result Is More Surprising and Newsworthy?

Not only did the Washington Post decide to put the poll results indicating widespread public opposition to an auto-industry bailout on page D8, but their front-page story, indicating that Americans want the troops home from Iraq and have warm fuzzy-wuzzy feelings towards Obama right now, is pretty boring.

Yes, complaints about media bias are tired, but sometimes it feels like today’s newspapers are designed to make sure you don’t learn what is going on.
