The bad news for McCain-Palin in the L.A. Times poll: Only 41 percent of respondents think Sarah Palin is qualified to become president. Forty-six percent say she’s not qualified.
The good news for McCain-Palin in the L.A. Times poll: He leads among independents, 49 percent to 34 percent!
Yet Obama leads 49-45 among likely voters; Obama leads 46-44 among registered voters.
I really want to see a sample breakdown for this poll, because if McCain is winning independents by a wide margin and is still behind, that poll sample must have had a heck of a lot of Democrats.
