A reader responds to this posting:
”Dodd, the chair of the banking committee, agreed to this language because most all of the stakeholders — including the administration — wanted it.”
That seems like pretty explosive stuff to me. Because if this is true then Obama is lying his butt off when he stands up there and claims to have only found out about this a few days ago.
Depends on who Dodd means when he says “the administration.” But yes, Dodd and Obama seem to be in contradiction here.
