Will Indiana Voters Say, ‘Bayh More’ or Will They Chuck the Incumbent?

A lot of people thought Rep. Mike Pence’s decision to not jump into the Senate race in Indiana reflected strength on the part of Sen. Evan Bayh. Actually, Jake Tapper shares that Pence says he thinks GOP will retake the House of Representatives in November, which is “partly why he’s not running for Senate.”

And now Indiana’s Secretary of State, Todd Rokita, is thinking of running against Sen. Evan Bayh.

Bayh won’t be a pushover, but he’s clearly facing the greatest risk of defeat in his previously pretty charmed career.
