Army’s Football Team Unveils Camouflage Uniform

Florida did the “Pro Combat” thing Saturday at Georgia, but Army was gung ho for an actual combat motif in a 29-7 win over the Virginia Military Institute. It’s not the first time the academy has incorporated camouflage in its game-day unis before, but never from head-to-toe. You can draw your own conclusions, but Miss USA digs the camo.

The win moved the Black Knights to 5-3, within one victory of an automatic bid to the Armed Forces Bowl in December – Army’s first .500 season or bowl game since 1996. Up first: A date with Notre Dame in Yankee Stadium, where the goalposts went up Friday for the first college football game in the Bronx in decades.
