Author of ‘How To Survive the Bulls of Pamplona’ Gored by a Bull

He wrote the book on surviving the running of the bulls — but he may not have read it.

An American bull runner who published a book titled “Fiesta: How to Survive the Bulls of Pamplona” was gored Wednesday during the annual Spanish festival.

A bull speared 32-year-old Bill Hillmann in the thigh, leaving him seriously injured, his friend and editor Alexander Fiske-Harrison told the Associated Press.

The Chicago native underwent surgery and is doing well. . .
