The “Duck Dynasty” family is setting its sight on gun lovers.
Phil Robertson’s duck-hunting clan has teamed up with a Connecticut firearms maker to roll a out a line of high-capacity weaponry.
Robertson’s Duck Commander and North Haven, Conn.-based gun manufacturer Mossberg & Sons agreed this summer to design nine new shotguns, a semiautomatic pistol, and two semiautomatic rifles.
The first of those weapons were sent this week to retailers Academy Sports + Outdoors and Cabela’s, Mossberg spokeswoman Linda Powell said Thursday.
The new weapons could be on shelves by this weekend or early next week. . .
