End of the World: Women Asking for the Same Hair as ‘Snooki’

Here’s something else to blame on New Jersey.

The “Snooki Pouf,” that towering up-’do hairstyle favored by the “Jersey Shore” star, has turned high-fashion — showing up on the heads of Hollywood starlets on the red carpet and fast becoming one of the most requested cuts in the hip pest Big Apple salons.

At Paris Fashion Week in March, Nina Ricci, Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld featured high-rise hairstyles. The next month at the “Date Night” premiere, Tina Fey wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style that featured a severe, voluminous mass of hair extending from her forehead.
