Massive Car Bomb Explodes in Norway

The explosion that rocked a Norwegian government building today was result of a massive vehicle bomb, according to U.S. government sources on the scene.

Norwegian news reported one person died and several were injured in the apparent attack. The prime minister, whose office is in the building, survived the blast, a government spokesperson told The Associated Press.

Pictures, posted on Twitter, show several buildings with windows blown out. Multiple tweets described people bleeding in the streets.

No group has publicly taken responsibility for the blast and a U.S. counter-terrorism official said there is no indication yet of motive or suspects. . .
