Obama will spend every minute of every vacation day on Martha’s Vineyard doing everything in his power to make this economy work

President Obama and his family will return to the summer playground of Martha’s Vineyard next month for an eight-day vacation at the $7.6 million home of a Chicago financier, accompanied by more than 70 security agents and staffers.

The president and first lady Michelle Obama will travel to the island off Cape Cod on Aug. 10 and stay until Aug. 18, a White House official told the Vineyard Gazette. It will be their fourth summer vacation of his presidency to be spent there.

The Obamas are said to be staying at the home of corporate finance manager David Schulte in Chilmark, on 9.5 acres with tennis courts, a basketball court, swimming pools and water views. The 5,000-square-foot house has a private master suite with its own den, porch, outdoor shower, access to a gymnasium and his-and-her bathrooms. An outside patio and screened dining room overlook an infinity pool. There are three guest bedrooms with baths. Additional amenities include a small basketball court and guest house. . .
