Two people were taken into custody in connection with a robbery involving a group of Girl Scouts outside a Winn Dixie.
On Sunday, the girls were selling cookies at the supermarket on Davie Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.
A witness told Local 10 News that a group of 8 to 10 men approached a table where two women and their two daughters were sitting.
The group left and then two of the men came back. They allegedly snatched a cell phone belonging to a 10-year-old girl.
Officials say surveillance video showed the two juveniles during the robbery, and were able to identify them from previous incidents in the area. . .
