If you’ve been wondering where Jessica Simpson has been lately, don’t worry. She’s been busy fulfilling her patriotic duty of visiting troops in the Persian Gulf.
The 30-year-old singer flew to the Persian Gulf to visit troops aboard the USS Harry S. Truman last week.
While aboard, she performed some songs, had a spaghetti meal with troops and signed autographs, the Military Times reported.
As part of the singing entertainment, Simpson auditioned troops to sing with her on her new Christmas album. They had to sing, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas.” The winner, John Britt, will also sing alongside her for the lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center in New York.
