Re: Brad Pitt’s Mother Supports Romney and (Presumably) Thanksgiving

Below, I wondered if Jane Pitt’s endorsement of Governor Romney would make for awkward political conversation over Thanksgiving dinner, but — natch — a reader pointed out to me via Facebook that Angelina Jolie doesn’t believe in Thanksgiving:

“Angelina Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans,” a friend of the actress tells me. “To celebrate what the white settlers did to the native Indians, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style. She definitely doesn’t want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder.”

Read the PopEater story here, which speculates that Brad might be more pro-Thanksgiving than Angelina.

(No matter whether they celebrate the holiday, they certainly have some adorable kids!)
