Miller Falls to Last in New Poll

A new poll shows Republican senate candidate Joe Miller rapidly losing support from Alaskan voters. The Hays Research poll has “write-in candidate” (Sen. Lisa Murkowski was not directly named) backed by 34 percent, Democrat Scott McAdams by 29 percent, and Miller by 23 percent.

UPDATE: Over at Campaign Spot, Jim Geraghty lists some reasons to be skeptical about the accuracy of the poll, including that Hays Research has been badly off in the past. And as a couple of readers have pointed out via e-mail, it looks like the poll surveyed adults, not registered or likely voters.
