Rick Perry met with Donald Trump yesterday. The two talked at Trump Tower, then went to dinner at Jean Georges, a somewhat nicer restaurant than the pizza joint Trump took Sarah Palin to in May. But that doesn’t mean Trump’s less enthused about Palin: in fact, he doesn’t want to endorse any candidate until Palin’s made up her mind. From Politico’s Morning Score:

Trump likes the Texas governor but is reluctant to endorse a candidate until Sarah Palin’s intentions are known, a source familiar with his thinking tells Morning Score. He is a big Palin fan.
Trump has also considered making an independent run himself.
