Another Guardian Moment

A week or two ago the Guardian ran into some difficulty (thanks, notably, to the Daily Ablution’s Scott Burgess) over articles by one of its journalists. He turned out to be involved with an extremist Islamic party, something that that newspapers’ unfortunate readers might have appreciated being told before reading articles by him on the attitudes of young Muslims in the UK and, earlier, the right to wear the Hijab.

Well, here we go again.

Today the Guardian is running an article by one Sa’ad al-Fagih, blandly described as “a leading exiled Saudi dissident and director of the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia”. And so he is.

But as David at Harry’s Place is pointing out, there may be rather more to his resume than that.

The first time was unfortunate. But the second?
