The Corner

Carter Continued

Yesterday I commented on Jimmy Carter’s complaints about Florida voting, and in particular his claim that elections in the state are run by partisan Republicans. An editorial in today’s WSJ makes this important point: “In 24 of the 25 Florida counties with the highest ballot spoilage rate, the county supervisor was a Democrat. In the 25th county, the supervisor was an Independent.” Carter forgot to mention that in his Washington Post tirade.
