Not long after the conclusion of a harsh, sharply critical (well, maybe not so much) story on a joint Bill Clinton/Bruce Springsteen appearance for Obama, NPR ran a segment this (early) morning on third-party candidates. Mentioned were Libertarian Gary Johnson and Virginia’s (conservative) Virgil Goode, both of whom would probably take more votes from right-leaning voters. Nothing on the Green Party’s Jill Stein, who would, of course, be likely to be more of a threat to the Democrats. Another “bizarre coincidence,” doubtless.
