Glow-in-the-Dark Generosity

Got to wear my lead apron when I open these e-mails — but that’s a small price to pay for handling the incoming generosity of our web friends who are bellying up to Webathon bar and filling the tip jar. Nothing atomic about the size of what Big Johnny R just tossed in: $100. Super of you, sir. We are deeply appreciative. Of course, he has an explanation, and a suggestion on how to spend it:

As Jonah’s Airpower Guy (TM), I would be remiss if I didn’t offer a little close air support, this time in dollars vice 30mm depleted uranium. You’re fighting a hard fight for a sacred cause and this is the least we, as readers, can do. Oh yeah, Goldberg DOES deserve a raise, Rich.

Jealous: Jonah has so many guys, some with access to interesting elements. I’d settle for a Kitchen Guy (TM) in the NYC office (that bi-monthly frig cleaning is a doozie) — one can dream. As for the raise, John, we are giving Jonah his annual salary hike on June 31st, so don’t worry.

But we worry — about paying bills. NR is in its 60th year of such. If you revel in all the free and exceptional content that is found on NRO, each and every day, think about stepping up like John and putting a sawbuck or two or ten in the tip jar. You can do that here.
