Lowering The Dannebrog?

Here’s an interesting, disturbing, observation from the Pub Philosopher:

“The Danes are great flag-flyers. My birthday and Christmas cards from my Danish friends always have little Danish flag stickers on them. They like to put a flag on the table when they have parties and they sometimes have them sitting on the bookshelves like ornaments. The flags are not large and in-yer-face like those of the English during football tournaments. They are small and discreet but they are always there. Most Danes in the UK have a subtle flag sticker somewhere on their car. Or at least, they used to. Quietly and without fuss, the Danes in London have been removing the flags from their cars…”

If this is widespread, it’s a sad reflection on London today–and its policing.
