In harsh tones normally reserved for the liberal opposition, Bush said conservatives fighting the immigration proposal “haven’t read the bill…”
That’s an interesting tack for Mr. Bush to take. Perhaps someone should ask the President if he has read the bill, and, indeed, when he did so. And while they are at it, they should ask him about its provisions in detail. Again. And again. And again.
