Robert Ettinger, R.I.P. (For Now)

Robert Ettinger, the “father of cryonics”, has died at the age of 92.

The Daily Telegraph’s obituary is here. It concludes with the news that Ettinger will be shipped back to Michigan to join his two wives and his mother “in cold storage”. Good luck to them all.

FWIW, my own take on cryonics, written after a visit to a cryonics facility back in 1996, can be found here.
