Romney Leads by Wide Margin

Mitt Romney is ahead of Michele Bachmann by 14 points in a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll that shows the former Massachusetts governor supported by 30 percent of Republican primary voters.

In third place is Rick Perry, backed by 11 percent. He’s followed by Ron Paul (9 percent), Newt Gingrich (8 percent), Herman Cain (5 percent), Rick Santorum (3 percent), Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman (both 2 percent).

And yes, a poll earlier today did show very different results . . . welcome to early primary polling!
