Irish voters (the only voters actually allowed to vote on the whole wretched topic) have rejected the EU’s non-constitution constitution. That’s good news for Ireland, for the other member nations of the EU, and for the U.S.
But note this comment from the abominable Barroso, the EU’s chief bureaucrat: “I believe the treaty is alive and we should now try to find a solution.”
