The Corner

Two Approaches

Two veterans of the Great War and their prescriptions for a long life:

“Bill Stone is 105 and swears by clean living, a contented mind and trust in the Lord. Henry Allingham, on the other hand, attributes his 109 years to “cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women”.

Bill should, of course, learn to listen to his elders, but who am I to argue with 105 years? Here’s wishing good health and an even longer life to these wonderful old men.
