Derb, the Daily Telegraph (where else?) has more details on the arrival of the Gurkhas outside the Nottingham IKEA:
“The four former Gurkhas have kept the peace in the Falklands, Belize and on the border between Hong Kong and China. But they had never seen anything quite like the notoriously temperamental crowds found at a flatpack furniture store….David Attle, a duty supervisor for security at the store, said: “I was quite astonished when I heard we were getting Gurkhas but so far it is working out very well. “They seem to have wiped out car crime in the car park.”
